Bapak Waleed to Participate in 2nd Indonesia Diaspora Congress

The Indonesian Ambassador to the United States invites Bapak Waleed’s participation

After the huge success of the First Congress of the Indonesian Diaspora held last summer in Los Angeles, the Indonesian Embassy in Washington, D.C. is hosting a 2nd Congress, to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia from August 18-20.  This year’s Congress will include a “Pencak Silat Forum,” with dignitaries and leaders from the Silat community participating in a number of panels describing the recent expansion of Silat around the world.  The Indonesian Diaspora Desk of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DDI) and the Indonesian Ambassador to the United States, H. E. Dr. Dino Patti Djalal have invited Bapak Waleed to participate: “I would like to propose you to be one of the panelists in the session of Opportunities for the Development of Pencak Silat in various entities: international organizations, universities and schools, military and police, community and retreat center, and social club.”
