Bapak Waleed leads the International Silat Federation of Indonesia and America in a collaborative performance with the Consulate General Of the Republic of Indonesia, New York, featuring vibrant cultural dances and music of Indonesia, and the ancient arts of Silat Tuo and Silat Minang.

Thank you to all who came out to support this wonderful event. Several hundred people filled the New Haven Green to watch this beautiful and exciting performance on the Main Stage of the International Festival of Arts & Ideas.

We send our sincere gratitude to the Honorable Consul General, Mr. Ghafur Akbar Dharmaputra, his staff, the dancers, and everyone at the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in New York (KJRI) for their enthusiastic participation and continued support.
